Random Records is proud to release two new remixes of tracks from Snax’s LP, Special Guest Star. The limited edition vinyl release, entitled Special Guest Remix, features reworks of two tracks: “Special Guest Star” remixed by Sven Brede aka Toxic Twin and “The Spark (feat. Eric D. Clark)” remixed by The Rimshooters.
Toxic Twin was the big winner in Snax’s remix contest presented by tracksandfields.com. Berlin born and raised, Toxic Twin aka Sven Brede, has been a part of nightlife and club culture as a professional DJ and producer ever since ’93; his regular appearances in the capital having become legendary. His take on “Special Guest Star” is classic yet modern tech house, inviting us in with ultra deep bass and then taking off with exhilarating vocals.
The Rimshooters are the fresh new production team of Massimiliano Pagliara and Rotciv. Dance lovers already know Rotciv from his characteristic disco edits and productions released on his Brazilian based label Mister Mistery. Over the past two years, Pagliara has thrilled us with slick and sexy tracks on labels such as Live At Robert Johnson and Balihu. Together, they give “The Spark” a stomping work over that will surely light your flame!
